Does anyone have ideas on what to replace the glass in our coffee tables with? - coffee tables at dfs
My wife and I would replace our glass coffee tables and end with something other than glass. I thought it would be something others have done, I can not find any information on the Internet. I thought about using 20 "x 20" porcelain tiles, but too heavy and Lowes do not get wet saw for cutting large enough (one might assume) but not - at least in my local Lowes. I'm looking for something light but strong. Other suggestions are cardboard covered with a sort of leather. I would like some information if someone has done or has good ideas. Thank you!

You can use a piece of wood, veneer oak or other wood. not yet say what the legs were not sure whether they are made of iron or wood. may be by small squares of 4 inches or even a Mosic used, and put it on a pattern. I realized that was put into a van and then used masinite weight of age, were family heirlooms, but was broken during a storm. I like the idea because they still have the legacy of NOE. but in a different form.
You can check either a game or contrasting wood. And if you want to get fancy, you can add a decorative border or inlay center. Rocker has a number in the link below.
try the board, cut out ........ Use of slate is natural and comes in different colors TRAA
The fiber made of wood covered with leather would be good.
Do not tell me what the color of the table, but can be used melamine (I think it is spelled correctly), so the goal.
Even taking into fibers and buy small boxes (there are some beautiful glass tiles small) 3x3, or even ceramic.
You can also use the river stone that might look good.
I think the project is totally dependent on her family, some of which are not as durable little truck driver ...
Boy would use glass as a tile tariff, and there are many styles to choose from. It is time they put into it, like a piece of wood, three quarters of the layer when the support and the tile with mastic and add a drop of twenty open when they are in the table. You can also use the metal.
Get a good piece of wood cut. Fleck, then polyuerethane sealed ...
